Adler

Meeting of Adler of Übersreik

This page also includes mercantile assets directly owned or controlled by Wigmar, such as brandy distilleries, Grausee projects, and more.

The first number is an abstract measure of the size and importance of the mercantile endeavors centered around this area. The second number is the number of income tokens collected by Wigmar (excluding investments, shares to other Adler members, and so forth).

Übersreik (4/+1)

Adler has a fair bit of legitimate trade in and around Übersreik. Not so much into manufacturing (because of all the guilds). Also, quite a bit of smuggling, prostitution, and more (none of which is guild-regulated). In volume, this is Adler's primary area. In terms of income, it is second.

Grausee (2/+1)

While Adler has some interest in Grausee, much of what transpires there are Wigmar's private projects (gun foundries, powder mill, and more). As such, Grausee is unlikely to become a primary area of operation.

Bögenhafen (1/+0)

Some legal contacts. Nothing generates any income.

Kemperbad (3/+1)

Adler is primarily trading in liquors and wines (not just locally produced, but imported from many parts of the Empire and beyond) but has warehouses and merchants working in the city to buy/sell/transport other types of commodities.

Wigmar secured personal control over several distilleries in the aftermath of the late unpleasantness (some would say without legal precedent). What he doesn't drink, he sells on and pockets the change.

Rumored connections to organized crime. Surely not true.

Nuln (4/+2)

Nuln is one of the premier transshipment points of the Empire and a hub for gun, cannon, and powder manufacture. Adler has a significant foothold here (mostly "inherited" from die Adlerverein) and also uses Nuln for the transshipment of goods from the Übersreik area.

Some say that "Otto of Kemperbad" (what a quaint name) has connections to southern crime syndicates operating through Nuln.

the Tilean Trade (2/+1)

Adler has trade connections with Tilea through the Vaults. It's a taxing and hazardous route, but unlike the Black Fire Pass, it directly accesses the Tilean markets.

Parravon (3/+2)

The luxuries trade (primarily barreled red wine, but also other products) with Parravon through Karak-Azgarz is Adler's premier milk cow. The return leg is somewhat less profitable but still earns a pretty penny. Without the excellent relations with the Duc, Descartes' presence, and von Drucker's father's trade connections, this would be far less profitable (if at all possible).

Altdorf (1/+0)

Adler owns some real estate, including a couple of riverside warehouses, but operations are quite limited.

Middenheim (1/+1)

Adler's involvement in Middenheim is, at this point, minimal.

There is, however, some smuggling going on. That's got nothing to do with Adler, of course, and surely doesn't involve dangerous substances.

Salzenmund (1/-1)

Spy.

Marienburg (1/+1)

Trade with Cathay.
